After browsing you tube on the internet one day i came across on a review on a new skincare product called Jergens. Im usually sceptic when trying new products as i suffer from excema which is usually kept under control yet a flare up can occur when my body doesnt agree with the product. I sent of for a review and was pretty impressed when the next day it had arrived! It came in a pretty box with some funky blue wrapping and chocolate which is always a good thing! Im a sucker for decent packaging!
There are numerous different Jergens that are retailing yet i got sent the shea butter extra softening which promises is 95 per cent natrual free. These are sold in Superdrug and Boots and retailing around £2.50 for the 75ml and for a bigger bottle £4.
After opening the lotion it was thick with a pleasent smell and when applied it was easily sunk into the skin and pretty much right away left me skin feeling rather soft! Although i applied the product to my back and it didnt seem to agree as well within mintues i was stinging in agony and had to wash the product of my back. The next day my arms were still pretty soft and my back didnt seem to come out with any red marks from the reaction. I put it down to my excema although at the time my skin was clear on my back and arms so find it all weird. I would use Jergens again, just not on my back, as its a very cheap moisturiser which does what it promises. I would reccomend it as its very good value for money and the packaging is very attractive for what you pay for! The other choices are Age Defying, Skin firming and Ultra Hydrating with ingrediants such as Jojoba oil and extracts of green tea!
So if your looking for a cheap moisturiser i wouldnt hesitate to purchase this product!
